Rhoback products are designed to be low maintenance, but care instructions may vary by product. Below are our general care tips, but we always recommend checking the care tag inside your garment or the product description on the individual product page for the most accurate care instructions.

Machine wash cold with like-colors, inside out: This helps prevent pilling and snagging. Our gear is made from polyester and nylon, which are "short fibers" and can be more sensitive to abrasion or sharp objects. Turning items inside out also protects the silicone heat seal ridge and dog logo from cracking or peeling.

Air dry or tumble dry on low heat: No worries about shrinking, your gear will stay in top shape!

Sweaters & Cardigans: These are made from a merino wool, nylon, and cashmere blend, so they need a little extra TLC! Hand wash cold separately, do not bleach, do not wring, reshape while damp, lay flat to dry, do not tumble dry, and use a cool iron if needed.

Soft structured hats (i.e. The Poly, The Molly, beanies): These are machine washable. For all other hats, stick to hand washing or spot cleaning for best results.

Avoid any rough abrasion and sharp objects: Our products are made from "short-fiber" fabrics like polyester, nylon, and spandex, which are more delicate than "long-fiber" fabrics like silk. Keep them away from abrasive surfaces like brick, Velcro, or concrete to prevent damage.
